“Moose”

Moose has exceeded every expectation we could have had!  He has brought so much joy into our lives and shows unconditional love every minute of every day! Moose is extremely intelligent and has never chewed or eaten anything besides his toys! He Is an F1 Goldendoodle and does not shed. The swiffer does find an occasional fluff ball or two here and there haha! Moose has a Masters Degree in playing and is sweet and loving with everyone he comes in contact with!
If you are looking for any type of Doodle you would be foolish to go any other place besides D and D’s Doodles! Darrell and Diane are absolutely amazing!

An addition to the family of two plus our two cats was in order. For more than a year we scoured the internet looking for the right breeder. Surely we were looking for the right pup too, but the breeder was the most important thing. We nearly pulled the switch several times in our search for those inescapable feelings you get when you know the situation is right. As a former K-9 handler and longtime dog owners but not current dog owners, we knew we had to find the right puppy in the right situation. We cannot tell you exactly what we were looking for in the search for a breeder, but I can tell you we knew we had found the right place when we found D and D’s Dandy Doodles. Before contacting Darrell or Diane, we went over their web site repeatedly. As a small business owner myself with my own web site, we were impressed by the plain language and to the point layout. The web site showed us everything we needed to know about the dogs they have. When we saw Liberty and Bravo’s litter I called Darrell to let him know we had our eye on the blue merle pups male Dallas and female Sierra. Honestly, we thought we had decided on Dallas, but to make sure we asked for a short video of the two. We printed their photographs off and were already showing them around. There was serious consideration to taking both until we decided on Sierra, whose name is now Molly. Although they were both stunningly cute, she won our hearts over. We got her at 8 weeks, today she is three days shy of being 16 weeks old. She has been a joy to have since we picked her up at the airport. There were a few interesting nights in the beginning during house breaking, but after the first couple of weeks of diligently taking her outside, she has been a model puppy. We originally planned on driving down from Indiana to pick her up but scheduling issues prevented us, so we opted for her to be shipped to us. Darrell and Diane made all of the arrangements via Delta Airlines. I couldn’t have asked for better people to deal with. Molly is everything we expected and more. From the routine housebreaking to learning tricks and commands, she is as smart as there is. Obviously coming from the quality of parents and grandparents has made our life much easier, but we will take some of the credit. All in all, we are completely happy that we contacted Darrell and Diane, they are simply good people with fantastic dogs. Any puppy you choose from them will come to you healthy, happy and ready to please. Our Molly is about half way done with basic obedience and she’s not even 4 months old. She had her first experience with the groomer today and did amazingly well for her first time. Everywhere we take her she is the biggest attraction. Last night during Halloween she was a bigger hit than the candy. All the kids loved her!! I hope this helps you make your decision. My wife and I were searching for the perfect companion for my son who suffers from anxiety. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend who had dated for two years. In addition, a close friend of his committed suicide during the same time causing an overwhelming flood of emotions which he was trying to sort through. Talk about an answer to prayer, little did we know how much healing was on its way, not only for I my son, but also to so many others. I expressed to Darrell what we were dealing with and our desire. After many messages back and forth, it felt so right that we had found the right companion and we were excited. My son named our Aussiedoodle Spyro. Such an amazingly smart dog. He is so easy to teach and so willing to please. Upon his arrival from Kentucky to his new home in Washington, there was an instant bond between them. Yep love at first sight. He arrived in our lives as if he knew what was needed and why he was chosen. He didn’t waste time getting started by turning on his charm. By the end of his first week with us, he was already sitting on command and would walk the trails off leash staying right alongside my son. By the fourth week he was fully potty trained and would ring the bell hung on the door to go outside. He also was responding to commands of shake and lay down. There has not been a single accident in the house since. I am still amazed he was only 3 months old when fully house broken. Spyro loves to play. He loves to play fetch. Needless to say we have spoiled him with many toys and he knows they are his. He has a little toy box which he retrieves them. We have never experienced him chewing on anything but his toys. He is so great with children, the elderly and with other dogs. My daughter brings over her dog, which is part pit-bull, and they will play together until they are all worn out. When my son goes to work, he will often drop Spyro off with his sister who works at an elderly memory care facility. They all love him there. My daughter told me that they are always asking when will he be coming back. He has the best temperament and we receive complements all the time regarding how easy going he is. I just love watching him greet each family member as they come home from work. He is gifted with making their terrible, stressful days erase with his delight in seeing their return. He definitely loves to be loved and gives so much in return. We are so very  We thankful and fully believe he was an answer to our prayers. D and D’s Dandy Doodles is not just a great companion provider but also a blessed ministry. So very grateful and thankful.

So weeks ago we started praying for the perfect pet, a good dog that would blend in well with the family. Little did we know, God had picked out the most precious, intelligent, well mannered, adorable, perfect and priceless little ball of fur!!! To say we are in love with Bailey is an understatement! She loves to go bye-bye, riding the golf cart, taking walks and chasing ball. She loves the attention at Petsmart and loves to stop by each fish tank. Oh and she loves her blankey. She carries it everywhere. She actually came to visit me at  work today (much to the delight of my coworkers, and she put on a show!) She is so well behaved! I could go on and on. She is sooo loved and we just wanted you to know how much we treasure our little Bailey Bear.

 We would highly recommend Darrell and Diane. They are two of the nicest, most genuine people we have ever met. Our daughter got her Aussiedoodle from them, and they had such a great experience that we decided to do the same. From the first phone call they were extremely professional and responsive. They answered all of our questions and allowed us to visit several times before we decided on a puppy. Their home and farm in Kentucky is beautiful, clean and definitely full of love!  Once we decided on our puppy, they sent us lots of pictures and videos so we could see him growing up. We brought Milo home a few weeks later - and he became an instant part of our family!  As first time pet owner, finding the perfect puppy and breeder can seem like a daunting task. As soon as I saw a picture of Ellie And had communication with Darrell, I knew it was the perfect fit! Darrell and Diane were wonderful to work with. They were very flexible and provided all the details necessary for a seamless transition. They have been wonderful with communication from the beginning and continue to check back with us. Ellie is a beautiful and brilliant dog. She was house broken within the first week of bringing her home And has continued to show how she is a very quick learner. We consistent get comments about how beautiful and sweet her personality is. We couldn't be happier with Derby! We were in search of an Aussiedoodle and found Darrell. They went above and beyond with answering questions and helping us understand the breed and expectations for our new family member. In fact, they called in a panic because they thought they told me some wrong information (lineage) and didn't want to mislead me. This is a very trustworthy and honest couple. Derby is a happy, healthy and well adjusted new member of the family.

 I spent a lot of time reading and deciding on a breed of dog that would be a perfect fit for me and my 9 yr old son. When I settled on the Australian Shepherd-Poodle mix (Aussiedoodle) I then started looking for one to be ready before Christmas and found D and D breeders. I called/texted Diane and Darrell to ask some questions and then one Sunday my mom and I drove up to meet them and see the puppies and they invited us into their home. We got to see the momma on site. After playing with 4, I was smitten with the female Blue Merle and put down my deposit. They told me when I settled on a name, let them know and they would start using it. They then sent me pictures and videos until it was time to go pick up "our baby". Once we got her home, she has been nothing but pure joy. She is so smart and loving and immediately took to being house broke. Everywhere I take her she gets tons of compliments on her softness, beautiful color and manners. Of course I am biased, but people at a pet boutique in  Lexington recently praised her character and said she was the prettiest puppy they had seen. Our experience with Darrell was great. He was prompt and honest in answering our many questions about our new pup, Cosmo. He was very flexible and accommodating in meeting our needs and working around our busy schedules. I would recommend him to anyone interested in bringing a great dog into their home! Cosmo is an absolutely great pet and we’re so happy to have him. He is playful, friendly to everyone, healthy and exceptionally smart. He learned basic commands and house training almost right away, and best of all he barely sheds. He has a great temperament and does well with kids. We could not have asked for anything more!
