Moose has exceeded every expectation we could have had! He has brought so much joy into our lives and shows unconditional love every minute of every day! Moose is extremely intelligent and has never chewed or eaten anything besides his toys! He Is an F1 Goldendoodle and does not shed. The swiffer does find an occasional fluff ball or two here and there haha! Moose has a Masters Degree in playing and is sweet and loving with everyone he comes in contact with!
If you are looking for any type of Doodle you would be foolish to go any other place besides D and D’s Doodles! Darrell and Diane are absolutely amazing!
I started my search for a puppy about a year and a half ago. I knew an aussiedoodle was the perfect fit as soon as I started researching the breed! The next step was to find a reputable breeder...that's when I found Darrell and Diane. Darrell was great, he took the time to call me, explain how their process works, and answer any and all the questions I had! I hung up the phone and instantly felt comfortable! That day I put my deposit down and anxiously waited for the puppies to be born. Darrell sent me updates and pictures as soon as they were born! I am sure Darrell was busy with all the pups, but he always took the time to send me update pictures and videos. We made the drive from PA to KY and I would do it all over again! I couldn't have asked for a better pup! Sophie is beautiful, intelligent, social and the most loving pup! She gets compliments every where we go! I couldn't have asked for a better experience or puppy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! -Tianna
An addition to the family of two plus our two cats was in order. For more than a year we scoured the internet looking for the right breeder. Surely we were looking for the right pup too, but the breeder was the most important thing. We nearly pulled the switch several times in our search for those inescapable feelings you get when you know the situation is right. As a former K-9 handler and longtime dog owners but not current dog owners, we knew we had to find the right puppy in the right situation. We cannot tell you exactly what we were looking for in the search for a breeder, but I can tell you we knew we had found the right place when we found D and D’s Dandy Doodles. Before contacting Darrell or Diane, we went over their web site repeatedly. As a small business owner myself with my own web site, we were impressed by the plain language and to the point layout. The web site showed us everything we needed to know about the dogs they have. When we saw Liberty and Bravo’s litter I called Darrell to let him know we had our eye on the blue merle pups male Dallas and female Sierra. Honestly, we thought we had decided on Dallas, but to make sure we asked for a short video of the two. We printed their photographs off and were already showing them around. There was serious consideration to taking both until we decided on Sierra, whose name is now Molly. Although they were both stunningly cute, she won our hearts over. We got her at 8 weeks, today she is three days shy of being 16 weeks old. She has been a joy to have since we picked her up at the airport. There were a few interesting nights in the beginning during house breaking, but after the first couple of weeks of diligently taking her outside, she has been a model puppy. We originally planned on driving down from Indiana to pick her up but scheduling issues prevented us, so we opted for her to be shipped to us. Darrell and Diane made all of the arrangements via Delta Airlines. I couldn’t have asked for better people to deal with. Molly is everything we expected and more. From the routine housebreaking to learning tricks and commands, she is as smart as there is. Obviously coming from the quality of parents and grandparents has made our life much easier, but we will take some of the credit. All in all, we are completely happy that we contacted Darrell and Diane, they are simply good people with fantastic dogs. Any puppy you choose from them will come to you healthy, happy and ready to please. Our Molly is about half way done with basic obedience and she’s not even 4 months old. She had her first experience with the groomer today and did amazingly well for her first time. Everywhere we take her she is the biggest attraction. Last night during Halloween she was a bigger hit than the candy. All the kids loved her!! I hope this helps you make your decision. You are free to ask Darrell and Diane for our contact information if you have any questions.UPDATED ON 9-10-2019:A year ago we got the sweetest & smartest pup we could have hoped for. She is literally the easiest dog I've ever raised and trained. Honestly I believe she could do any work, perform any service, learn any trick. Everyone who meets her thinks she's awesome.

Took Cayenne to vet yesterday. Vet was impressed with her records and said she is really smart. Showed him pictures of her parents and he loved them. Especially Cisco because he loves red standards. Says he doesn’t see them that often. She checked out great and we made an appointment for her next shots. She is perfect and we are crazy about her. No accidents in the house. We take her out often to potty. Also take her out in our fenced in yard to play ball. She loves her toys. She is really good but does like to play in her water bowl lol. Tell Dianne we said hello. We are so glad we found you two. Couldn’t be happier.
Update: My beautiful and beloved Cayenne. She will be a year old in three days. Can’t tell you enough how grateful we are to have found you and to have this beautiful girl. She is an amazing dog and a joy to all of us. We are just so proud of her. There are lots of doodles around here and her groomer grooms most of them. My husband says she is the prettiest and I agree. Her groomer says that of all the dogs she grooms, Cayenne is the best. She is really good on the table and is beautiful.
My wife and I were searching for the perfect companion for my son who suffers from anxiety. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend who had dated for two years. In addition, a close friend of his committed suicide during the same time causing an overwhelming flood of emotions which he was trying to sort through. Talk about an answer to prayer, little did we know how much healing was on its way, not only for I my son, but also to so many others. I expressed to Darrell what we were dealing with and our desire. After many messages back and forth, it felt so right that we had found the right companion and we were excited. My son named our Aussiedoodle Spyro. Such an amazingly smart dog. He is so easy to teach and so willing to please. Upon his arrival from Kentucky to his new home in Washington, there was an instant bond between them. Yep love at first sight. He arrived in our lives as if he knew what was needed and why he was chosen. He didn’t waste time getting started by turning on his charm. By the end of his first week with us, he was already sitting on command and would walk the trails off leash staying right alongside my son. By the fourth week he was fully potty trained and would ring the bell hung on the door to go outside. He also was responding to commands of shake and lay down. There has not been a single accident in the house since. I am still amazed he was only 3 months old when fully house broken. Spyro loves to play. He loves to play fetch. Needless to say we have spoiled him with many toys and he knows they are his. He has a little toy box which he retrieves them. We have never experienced him chewing on anything but his toys. He is so great with children, the elderly and with other dogs. My daughter brings over her dog, which is part pit-bull, and they will play together until they are all worn out. When my son goes to work, he will often drop Spyro off with his sister who works at an elderly memory care facility. They all love him there. My daughter told me that they are always asking when will he be coming back. He has the best temperament and we receive complements all the time regarding how easy going he is. I just love watching him greet each family member as they come home from work. He is gifted with making their terrible, stressful days erase with his delight in seeing their return. He definitely loves to be loved and gives so much in return. We are so very We thankful and fully believe he was an answer to our prayers. D and D’s Dandy Doodles is not just a great companion provider but also a blessed ministry. So very grateful and thankful.

Darrell! I just wanted to check in with you and let you know how AMAZING Huck has been. He’s is the most adventurous and loving dog I’ve ever owned. His personality has blossomed, and makes us laugh on the daily. He’s so stinkin’ smart too!
So weeks ago we started praying for the perfect pet, a good dog that would blend in well with the family. Little did we know, God had picked out the most precious, intelligent, well mannered, adorable, perfect and priceless little ball of fur!!! To say we are in love with Bailey is an understatement! She loves to go bye-bye, riding the golf cart, taking walks and chasing ball. She loves the attention at Petsmart and loves to stop by each fish tank. Oh and she loves her blankey. She carries it everywhere. She actually came to visit me at work today (much to the delight of my coworkers, and she put on a show!) She is so well behaved! I could go on and on. She is sooo loved and we just wanted you to know how much we treasure our little Bailey Bear.
In June, Patty and I were grieving the loss of our nearly 15 year old Winston, a huge, wise and gentle Wolfhound-Lab mix of a 'lapdog'. We had discussed waiting a year before getting another pooch, but we were both sneaking peaks online at puppies. We had a wonderful Australian Shepherd before Winston, who also lived to fifteen, so we knew this was a long-lasting commitment. We semi-agreed that when the time came we would want Aussie in the mix, and not shedding would be a plus. We are also in our mid sixties and a baby puppy was not high on our list. Just a couple of weeks after we lost Win, I saw a picture of Bo, our Aussiedoodle, in PuppyFinder. We had both looked at dozens of dog pictures but I knew instantly that Bo needed to be OUR dog. The way he held himself was magnetic to me. He was five months old. Because he is black, has two brown eyes and does not fit the fashionable mixed hair colors and eye colors prized in Aussiedoodles, he went unclaimed. Lucky for us. I called Darrell. We chatted pleasantly a bit and I immediately sent him a check to hold Bo. Patty and I made plans to drive 950 miles from Connecticut to meet our newest friend. When we arrived, Bo greeted us with such gusto we fell in love immediately. In the five months since Bo entered our lives he has proven to be smart, cuddly, eager to please and equally sassy and stubborn. He points like a prized hunting dog, leaps like a deer and runs like his tail is on fire. He is gentle with children and other dogs and is finally learning to not pull my shoulder out of joint on our frequent long walks. Bo is a clown and regal at the same time. He makes us laugh more than any other dog we've had and definitely keeps me moving. Darrell promised me that Bo was really the best dog of his litter. I have no doubt Darrell was telling the truth.
Sincerely and with forever thanks,
We would highly recommend Darrell and Diane. They are two of the nicest, most genuine people we have ever met. Our daughter got her Aussiedoodle from them, and they had such a great experience that we decided to do the same. From the first phone call they were extremely professional and responsive. They answered all of our questions and allowed us to visit several times before we decided on a puppy. Their home and farm in Kentucky is beautiful, clean and definitely full of love! Once we decided on our puppy, they sent us lots of pictures and videos so we could see him growing up. We brought Milo home a few weeks later - and he became an instant part of our family! He is doing awesome and we would definitely recommend Darrell and Diane to anyone who is considering adding a happy, healthy dog to their family.

Our Aussiedoodle, Maggie, joined our family in July 2016. She has truly added so much love and joy to our household. She is our first dog and Darrell was so great to work with as we sorted out the details of getting her to our home in Connecticut. He even drove to the airport early in the morning two days in a row due to a cancelled flight! Upon arrival she was healthy and beautiful! People stop us all the time to say how pretty she is and to ask about her breed. She loves to accompany us on 8-10 mile trail runs off leash. It's truly her happy place! Maggie is playful and full of personality and makes our family laugh every day. We feel she loves and needs all the exercise we give her but she is also very good at chilling out and relaxing when we need her to. She was quick to learn commands and can even jump through a hula hoop! We can't imagine life without her.
As first time pet owner, finding the perfect puppy and breeder can seem like a daunting task. As soon as I saw a picture of Ellie And had communication with Darrell, I knew it was the perfect fit! Darrell and Diane were wonderful to work with. They were very flexible and provided all the details necessary for a seamless transition. They have been wonderful with communication from the beginning and continue to check back with us. Ellie is a beautiful and brilliant dog. She was house broken within the first week of bringing her home And has continued to show how she is a very quick learner. We consistent get comments about how beautiful and sweet her personality is. I could not have asked for a better experience And would highly recommend Darrell and Diane!
We are so happy with HerShe. We were wanting an Aussiedoddle and found her. She's so lovable, great tempered and a great breed. I highly recommend Darrell and Diane. They were great people and I can tell they love and take care of their dogs. We definitely will be back when ready for another.
We couldn't be happier with Derby! We were in search of an Aussiedoodle and found Darrell. They went above and beyond with answering questions and helping us understand the breed and expectations for our new family member. In fact, they called in a panic because they thought they told me some wrong information (lineage) and didn't want to mislead me. This is a very trustworthy and honest couple. Derby is a happy, healthy and well adjusted new member of the family.
We are so thankful for our precious Australian Shepherd puppy! The Adamsons were wonderful to deal with from our very first inquiry. Darrell answered all our questions promptly. After we picked out "our" puppy, he kept us updated with pictures and videos in the weeks leading up to our pick up day. It was obvious that he loved his dogs and they are loved and well cared for. When we took our puppy to our local vet for the first time after arriving home, the veterinarian commented on what good record keeping came with our puppy. We wholeheartedly recommend the Adamsons for your next puppy...you can be sure they are coming from a good home.
I spent a lot of time reading and deciding on a breed of dog that would be a perfect fit for me and my 9 yr old son. When I settled on the Australian Shepherd-Poodle mix (Aussiedoodle) I then started looking for one to be ready before Christmas and found D and D breeders. I called/texted Diane and Darrell to ask some questions and then one Sunday my mom and I drove up to meet them and see the puppies and they invited us into their home. We got to see the momma on site. After playing with 4, I was smitten with the female Blue Merle and put down my deposit. They told me when I settled on a name, let them know and they would start using it. They then sent me pictures and videos until it was time to go pick up "our baby". Once we got her home, she has been nothing but pure joy. She is so smart and loving and immediately took to being house broke. Everywhere I take her she gets tons of compliments on her softness, beautiful color and manners. Of course I am biased, but people at a pet boutique in Lexington recently praised her character and said she was the prettiest puppy they had seen. I highly recommend the Aussiedoodle and hope you find the perfect fit for your family. Thanks again, Diane and Darrell.
Curtis can be best described as a Big Lovable Teddy Bear. He is extremely intelligent and learns fast. Everywhere he goes people love him and he loves everyone.
Thought you might want to hear more about Curtis. First of all he is a great dog. He goes just about every where with us, Tractor Supply, Lowes and Hobby Lobby. He always is the center of attention. Everyone just loves him. The UPS guy is his best friend, he jumps right up into the truck with him ready to get his treat. He has a expansive vocabulary. I think his favorite word is Polaris. He loves taking rides in it. He loves herding the cats but they are so used to him they don't run anymore. This last week we took him out on the boat, again he loved it. He has his own life vest just to keep him safe. He can't get enough of the water. I thank you for such a great dog. He is loved to pieces. I sing his praises to anyone who will listen. Again thank you. I will send you some pictures.
Our experience with Darrell was great. He was prompt and honest in answering our many questions about our new pup, Cosmo. He was very flexible and accommodating in meeting our needs and working around our busy schedules. I would recommend him to anyone interested in bringing a great dog into their home! Cosmo is an absolutely great pet and we’re so happy to have him. He is playful, friendly to everyone, healthy and exceptionally smart. He learned basic commands and house training almost right away, and best of all he barely sheds. He has a great temperament and does well with kids. We could not have asked for anything more!
I started looking for a puppy in January 2018 and found Derby at D and D’s Dandy Doodles. I texted Darrell and he responded so quickly. I was actually inquiring about another pup, but after hearing what I was looking for, Darrell suggested Derby. Derby was the more laid back pup of his litter and that suits my lifestyle. I’m a first time dog owner and needed a pup that was easy to train and not too much work. That’s what I got with “Derbydoodle.” Darrell knew exactly what I needed! After choosing the right pup, Diane and Darrell communicated with me through text and allowed me to come into their home and visit Derby! I fell in love immediately. He’s the perfect combination of playful and lazy! I had lots of questions, some after I picked him up, and Darrell always got back to me the same day. Sir Derbydoodle has been with me 6 months now and he’s doing excellent. He sits, shakes, high fives, kisses, hugs, sticks ‘em up, and lays down all on command. He goes and gets in the bed when I ask him if he’s ready to go night night and goes directly into his crate when I’m leaving for work! He will not eat until I tell him it’s okay. He lets me know when he needs to go potty and hasn’t had an accident in two months. Darrell and Diane’s Doodles are the best dogs! I cannot thank them enough for allowing me to be Derby’s mom!
